Google kruipt markt prijsvergelijkers op

Jeroen Korving van Compare Group signaleert dat Google zich onopgemerkt de markt voor productvergelijkers eigen maakt. Vooralsnog eerst in Amerika.
“(…) Google is also testing a new version of its Product Search with actual CSE features. This includes the aggregation of merchant offers by product, compare functionalities, technical specifications of products and reviews for products. (…) It will be likely that Google will start promoting this service in their regular search results. (…)“

voorheen http://www.Froogle.com kan via Google Base gevoed worden (niet in NL wel Duitsland) Wij hebben er artikelen op gezet. Bijvoorbeeld salontafels:
