De overname van internetbelbedrijf Skype is nagenoeg rond, schrijft de Engelse zakenkrant Financial Times vanochtend:

* Agreement could reach $4.1bn if performance targets are reached
Ebay was in the final stages late yesterday of sealing an agreement to buy Skype, the fast-growing provider of voice calls over the internet, for more than $2.6bn, according to a person close to the situation. (…)”
Business Week meldt dat eBay vandaag om 14:00 uur Nederlandse tijd een ‘ongebruikelijke telefonische conferentie met investeerders’ gaat houden.
